Maisha Rounds is an elementary principal, author, National Board Certified teacher, and former district Teacher of the Year. A veteran educator of 20 years, Maisha advocates tirelessly for equitable access for historically marginalized and disenfranchised students. She earned two Masters in education from Winthrop and Harvard Universities and is completing her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy at Vanderbilt in 2021.
