She enjoyed her days as a kindergarten teacher at A&M Consolidated, Bossier Parish School Board, Corpus Christi Independent School District (ISD), and Klein ISD. Becoming an administrator in 1995 in Klein ISD allowed her the opportunity to listen to teachers, research best practices, and provide professional development that enhances student success.
