After receiving a Bachelor’s of Arts in Adolescent English Education from Niagara University and a Master’s in Adolescent Special Education from Le Moyne College in New York state, Jessica decided to launch her teaching career in a warmer climate.   She taught freshman and sophomore English at a public charter school in Arizona where she was named Teacher of the Year in 2013.  Aspiring to broaden her teaching experience, she accepted a teaching position for the 2016-2017 school year at a private college prep school in Texas, where she currently teaches freshman and junior English and moderates the student council.  

Outside of the classroom environment, you can find Jessica whipping up new recipes for family and friends, hitting the pavement for a run, catching a plane to a new destination, or watching HGTV with her loyal canine companion.
