Andrea Cheng is a high school math teacher with more than 10 years of experience in the classroom. She previously taught at a small school for recently arrived immigrants from over 35 different countries. She now teaches at a large public high school in the San Francisco Bay Area and is currently on extended leave to care for her daughter.

Andrea is a co-author with Fred Dillon, Ayanna Perry and Jennifer Outz of Answers to Your Biggest Questions About Teaching Secondary Math, which is part of Corwin’s new Five to Thrive. The series is geared toward new classroom teachers or those looking to hone a more student-centered practice in elementary and secondary mathematics, reading, writing, and classroom management.
